Comedian Peter Helliar is the latest celebrity to be voted out of the Jungle as his fellow campmates reach their final days in South Africa.
Rationed food and ridiculous trials took their toll on Pete with his body going through a dramatic transformation over his three-week stint.
Speaking with Stav, Abby and Matt, Pete shared that he lost a massive 7.5kg during his time on the show, joking “it’ll be back on by the plane home though!”
“You have this idea that you’ll come out and go back to a hotel and have a beer,”
“But you go straight to a psych; you meet with the medical team, I haven’t stopped since I left.”

Helliar, who filled the comedy seat on Ten’s The Project also spoke about the difficult decision of quitting the show after 10 years.
“I was a little bit sick of being associated with the news cycle,” he said.
“News has become pretty toxic; I’m happier to be going into a sillier, fun area.”
Helliars departure from the popular news program followed colleagues Carrie Bickmore and Lisa Wilkinson’s shock exits.
With only three episodes to go until the Queen or King of the Jungle is crowned, netball legend Liz Ellis, reality television star Aesha Scott, Olympic boxer Harry Garside, Geordie Shore star Nathan Henry and retired AFL player Adam Cooney will be fighting it out for their respective charities.
