A Brisbane real estate agent who was fired over a series of social media posts in which she expressed disdain for low-income renters says she isn’t sorry for her comments.
Amiee Marsh was sacked by her employer Ray White Aspley in Brisbane’s north after her now-deleted comments on a community Facebook page were discovered.
Speaking to Brisbane’s Stav, Abby and Matt on B105, Aimee explained she has had multiple job offers since being let go from her job.
“I’m sorry to the nation for those who thought it was a generalised comment,” she said.
I’m not going to say sorry to those people who targeted me and thought they could get away with it but I can’t defend myself.”
“Everyone’s going to categorise us – in a situation of financial problems at the moment, those that are doing well are going to be the target audience… I deal with that…“
