How Rove McManus Coped When The World Wanted To ‘Pry’ After The Death Of His Wife Belinda

Stand up comedian, Rove McManus went on to create one of the most successful talk shows in Australian TV history ‘Rove Live’. He’s been a permanent fixture on our entertainment landscape winning logies, hosting radio, creating The Project, and touring his standby up shows.

In this weeks episode of The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show Jess sat down with Rove to find out how he navigates life in the spotlight, you might be surprised to learn that behind his confidence is discomfort and awkwardness when it comes to his public persona.

While his wife Tasma describes him as ‘annoyingly half glass full’, Jess and Rove also talk about the sadder times, and how he coped when the world wanted to ‘pry’ when his wide Belinda died.

“I found a very tricky thing to navigate without getting mad at people for prying, when my response is, well, how do you think it is?”
