Mark Soeson is a 48-year-old Lawyer from Estonia. His partner, Elfriede Riit is 103-years-old. She is also Mark’s grandfather’s ex-wife.
Soeson is seeking permanent residency in Australia on the basis that Ms Ritt is his legitimate partner after his visa was denied.
“I relocated to Australia and have sacrificed many years for the wellbeing of Elfriede and for our genuine commitment. She views me as her husband despite us never formally and civilly marrying,” he said in his statement.
