It’s the most exciting week in the AFL calendar and Brisbane Lion’s star forward Cam Rayner is preparing for the biggest game of his career.
But it’s the half time show performed by rock band KISS that almost has the Rayner Family more hyped than the actual game.
For years a cross-code war has been battled in Brisbane with the AFL and NRL, but this weekend the city is preparing itself to be the epicentre of Australian Football.
“I can’t image what Brisbane is going to be like if we both win; it’ll be like a jungle,” Cam said.
A stellar season saw Cam play 25 games this year leading his team to their first premiership in 20 years.
The 24-year-old was pivotal in the Lion’s win against the Blues last week, shifting the tone of the game with his bullish second quarter.
The Brisbane Lions take on Collingwood in the 2023 AFL Grand Final at the MCG this Saturday.
Stav, Abby and Matt are on Brisbane’s B105 weekdays from 6am-9am or you can catch up with them anytime via the LiSTNR app here
