The Brisbane’s Brown Snake has their new flavour thanks to Allen’s and B105’s Stav, Abby and Matt.
After a huge 6 months lobbying for a lolly maker to produce the Brown Snake in honour of the Brisbane River, Aussie Icon Allen’s put their hand up to make the snake slither to life.
The public was then tasked with the big decision… what flavour should it be?
A-List celebs and influential figures were specifically selected to take part in the tasssste tesssssting challenge, given the option of cola, coffee or chocolate.
PM Anthony Albanese lead the charge, selecting cola as his ideal flavour.
“That was good, cola was good!” The PM said.
“Coffee’s not very coffee… oh wait, yes it is!!! It kicks in afterwards!”
Joining the PM was Brisbane royalty, King of Queensland Wally Lewis, The Lord Mayor, QLD Maroon Players, expert taste testers, Chef Collin Fassnidge and Brisbane’s own Stav, Abby and Matt in selecting their favourite flavour snake.
It was a close vote between cola and chocolate (sorry coffee, you weren’t the vibe…)
