We’re all familiar with a classic hard rubbish, kerb-side council clean up. Old pieces of furniture, broken printers and random knick-knacks line suburban streets, while every so often, a savvy shopper pokes around to see if they can discover any hidden gems.
But what happens when someone ends up taking an item that wasn’t meant to be thrown away?
Well, that’s exactly what happened to one of Matt Okine’s neighbours who posted in the local Community Facebook page about a theft in their neighbourhood.
