With 14 February inching closer, Charlie Clausen sat down with dating expert Jana Hocking in the latest episode of Everyone Relax: TOFOP with Friends, to unpack all the ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’ of Valentine’s Day in 2024.
Whether you’re in a long term relationship or have only been on a few dates, Jana has shared her top tips!
“Don’t send flowers to your partner’s house. Send it to their work so they can show off because there’s something about seeing the constant flower deliveries at work, even though sometimes I don’t get them, it brings me joy to see girls’ faces light up when they get that big bunch of flowers. So always send it to their workplace so they can show off.”
As for a first date, Jana says to stay away from Valentine’s Day if you can help it:
“If you’re going on a first date on Valentine’s Day, first of all, don’t. That’s way, way too much pressure. But if it’s the only day in the week that works, just bring one single rose, just to acknowledge the day.”
